Chabahar Port

The development of the port of Chabahar became more difficult for the Indians.

             As one of the most important supporters of the Chabahar port development project was the Afghan government. it seems that. the work of the Indians to continue this project and keep the Iranian authorities satisfied has become more difficult.

Chabahar Port is a seaport in Chabahar located in southeastern Iran, on the Gulf of Oman. It serves as Iran’s only oceanic port, and consists of two separate ports named Shahid Kalantari and Shahid Beheshti, each of which has five berths.

It seems that with the rise of the Taliban in Afghanistan and the fall of Ashraf Ghani’s government in this country. the work of Indians in developing. the port of Chabahar and completing. this project has become more difficult.

Based on Indians’ point of view, the Afghan government was the biggest supporter of the Chabahar port project. Because it needed this project to be able to import LPG, diesel, food and pharmaceutical items along the Chabahar port using the railway connected to this port with Zahedan. Afghanistan still needs these things, but its government has fallen.

Indians believe, the Charbahar port development project is the most important and priority project for the country’s overseas project. with strategic goals. but with the Taliban coming to power. it may be more difficult to complete and use the project.
